Senior Legal Counsel Corporate

Job Description
As a Senior Corporate Counsel, your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Providing strategic legal advice and support to senior management and various business units on a wide range of legal issues related to Oil and Gas exploration, production, refining and marketing
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements, including joint venture agreements, production sharing agreements, supply contracts, and M&A transactions
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations governing the Oil and Gas industry, including environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and anti-corruption laws
- Manage litigation and dispute resolution matters, including coordinating with external counsel and representing the company in negotiations
- Advise on corporate governance matters, including board meetings, governance policies, and compliance with corporate governance best practices
- Conduct legal research and analysis on emerging legal issues impacting the Oil and Gas industry and provide recommendations to management on potential risks and opportunities
