The Role
Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate to join a dynamic Corporate M&A team based in Dubai focusing on private equity, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and joint ventures across various sectors. These sectors include financial services, energy, utilities, consumer goods, retail, education, healthcare, telecoms, and media. Role and key responsibilities o Assist in the execution of private equity, M&A, and joint venture transactions. o Conduct thorough due diligence and financial analysis. o Prepare and review transaction documents, including term sheets, purchase agreements, and joint venture agreements. o Coordinate with clients, legal advisors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction processes. o Provide strategic advice and support to clients on complex M&A and joint venture matters. o Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting the sectors the firm operates. o Contribute to the development and implementation of the global M&A strategy.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent. o English and Wales qualified. o 5-8 years PQE o Strong deal M&A deal list from a leading international law firm, preferably present or has had experience working in the UAE/region o 2-4 years of experience in private equity, M&A, and joint ventures. o Strong understanding of the sectors mentioned above. o Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. o Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. o Proven track record of managing complex transactions from inception to completion. o Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across different regions and cultures.
