The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Key Account professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and growing the key accounts in the modern trade sector, with a focus on Spinneys. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills to drive business growth and achieve sales targets. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement strategic plans to grow sales and market share within the modern trade sector, with a focus on Spinneys. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at Spinneys, including buyers, category managers, and senior management. - Negotiate and finalize trading terms, promotional plans, and marketing activities to maximize sales and profitability. - Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and anticipate potential challenges. - Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure effective execution of plans and strategies. - Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, market intelligence, and competitor activities to the management team. - Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to achieve their targets and deliver exceptional customer service to Spinneys.
Requirements
• Proven experience in key account management within the modern trade sector, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets and building strategic partnerships. - Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport at all levels within the customer organization. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to interpret sales data and market insights to drive decision-making. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering results and exceeding expectations. - Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing sales team. - Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. Additional qualifications in sales or account management would be an advantage. - Knowledge of the retail industry in Dubai, particularly within the modern trade sector, with an understanding of Spinneys operations and market positioning.
