In this role you will get to carry out the review and design of ITS and Communications systems equipment and infrastructure for roads, urban, and Expressways projects in accordance with international and Local standards, specifications, and procedures.What You\'ll Be Doing:The Senior Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) Engineer is responsible for carrying out and lead the review and design of Traffic Control Systems for Signalized Junctions and CCTV Camera Systems.Completes a wide variety of difficult engineering assignments, applying engineering techniques and analyses within one discipline. The Engineer at this level is a fully qualified professional, proficient in the utilization of most engineering theories and practices.Performs complex engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately.Prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.Providing ITS advice and guidance into various road and highway infrastructure projects.Carrying out studies for the implementation and operation of ITS Applications.Coordination with Clients and other disciplines.Performs all required responsibilities and duties associated with this position as may be appropriate.What Required Skills You\'ll Bring:BSc Degree in Electrical/Telecommunications/Computer/Electronics Engineering, MSc Degree would be a plusChartered Engineer (C.Eng.) or Professional Engineer (PE) would be a plusMinimum 10+ years post graduate experience in Design of Intelligent Transportation System (ITS), Communications systems, and CCTV systemsITC Abu Dhabi approval for TCS and ITS Design is mandatoryExperience in the design and operation of ITS infrastructureExperience in the design of Urban Traffic Control Systems (TCS)Experience in the design of CCTV SystemIn depth knowledge of ITS, TCS, and CCTV design standards and proceduresWhat Desired Skills You\'ll Bring:Good communication and coordination skillsExperience in the operation and maintenance requirements of ITS infrastructureExperience with electronics and telecommunications systems as related to ITS, TCS, and CCTVKnowledge of computer software applications related to ITS, and CCTVCandidate with prior local experience with consultantsCandidate with international experience with consultants would be a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishExcellent Presentation SkillsMinimum Clearance Required to Start: Not Applicable/NoneParsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
