Job Description

A senior internal auditor reports to the internal audit manager or director and leads or participates in audit projects. Their responsibilities include planning and conducting audits across various business areas, such as finance, compliance, operations, and IT, while applying audit standards to analyze data, test controls, and identify gaps. They prepare and present audit findings and recommendations, ensure timely follow-up, and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders. Additionally, they supervise and mentor junior auditors, provide feedback, and contribute to improving internal audit policies, procedures, and risk assessments.

Requirements: Degree in business or a comparable subject, 5+ of professional experience in the areas of auditing, consulting or auditing Comfortable in the handling of projects and their management An open-minded person, who is characterized by a structured and independent way of working and has a high self-motivation, but also appreciate the cooperation in a team MS-Office applications knowledge, especially Excel and PowerPoint you should have SAP, IDEA or ACL knowledge A professional English and are a strong communicator

Minimum Criteria's: Must be CIA Qualified / OR currently studying Used to working in a high pressured, high performance environment. Experience in a FMCG or warehousing/distribution environment where stock was managed. Strong Supervisory skills. Sound IT Skills & Must have experience on TeamMate. Develop & Create Audit Procedures.

Knowledge, Skills & Ability: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, risk management, and internal control frameworks Proficient in audit software, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office applications Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills Extensive experience in the FMCG sector Professional certifications: CIA, CPA, CFE, or CISA preferred
