:Wood has been awarded a major project with ADNOC and, we are looking to hire a Senior Instrument and Control Engineer to be based at our Abu Dhabi Engineering Centre. Below are more details about the role.Responsibilities:
Instrument and controls system design responsibility
Definition of plant overall controls architecture
Ownership of I&C schedule and planning
Responsible for production and / or review of deliverables including models, drawings, calculations, specifications, reports, evaluations etc
Working closely with the design team to achieve successful model review outcomes
Liaise with other disciplines, clients and vendor representatives
Experience of working with multi - national and multi - cultural project teams is strongly preferred
Qualifications:
Engineering Degree in a relevant discipline ( I&C OR EC)
At least 10 to 12 years experience with instrumentation in the Oil & Gas environment
Experience FED, Detail design and EPC projects
Fully coherent in all international codes and standards
Excellent command of both spoken and written English is required
Assurance of tender and supply for all I&C equipment
Thorough knowledge of DCS, ESD, F&G and SCADA systems generally incorporated in major Brownfield oil / gas offshore projects
Participation with contribution during P&IDs, HAZOP, and SIL reviews workshop
