We are in search of a qualified Senior Insturmentation & Control Engineer who can handle the below responsibilitied


Responsibilities


• To have single-point responsibility for all Instrument engineering deliverables and ensure that they conform to all applicable engineering codes and standards as well as the Client's policies and procedures including AGES (ADNOC Gas Engineering Specifications) and DGS (Design General Specifications).
• Manage and report progress of all instrument engineering and design budgets in line with contract requirements
• Manage engineering and design resource requirements in line with contract requirements
• Ensure compliance with management of change processes both technical and financial.
• Technical support to Minor & Major Brown (upgrade/revamp) and Green field ADNOC Gas Projects.
• Design and check all Instrument document/drawings on assigned projects
• Experience with Custody Transfer Metering System (CTMS) is preferred.
• Background in working for organizations in EPC for the Oil and Gas Industry.
• Well versed with ADNOC VAP implementation during the project Define & Execute Stages.
• Knowledge of Work to Permit System (WMS) in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Conversant with engineering document/drawings i.e. P&ID's, Logic, Loop Drawings, etc. and different studies i.e. SIL, HAZOP, F&G mapping etc.
• Experience with Instrument Design software i.e. smart plant etc.
• Contacts with other ADNOC groups for coordination of interface activities and other outside companies.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of Instrumentation system design and analysis
• Thorough awareness of international codes and standard including ADNOC AGES (ADNOC Gas Engineering Specifications) and DGS (Design General Specifications).
• Knowledge and understanding on Hazardous Area Classification
• Strong Experience on Systems (DCS, ESD, F&G, etc) engineering knowledge
• Knowledge on F&G detectors technology selection
• Fully familiar with international codes, standards and recommended practices to be adopted during EPC phases of oil / gas projects
• Thorough knowledge of DCS, ESD, Fire and Gas and SCADA systems generally incorporated in major oil / gas project is essential
• Regular contacts through Project Management with Consultants, Contractors and Vendors for coordination of projects engineering works on all phases of the project.
• Execute assigned work in accordance with the applicable Project Procedures, DDI and Standards, including Project Procedures
• Review other discipline drawings such as Equipment datasheet
• Attend coordination meetings and engineering review meetings with supplier as required
• Assist Procurement Department with the expediting of supplier documents
• Review and approve supplier documents for Instrumentation
• Ensure effective & efficient Inter-discipline coordination including coordination with client engineer
• Review instrument aspects of package unit supplier's drawings


Qualifications


• Degree qualification in Instrument and Control System Engineering from an accredited university
• 15 years of overall relevant experience including min. experience 8 years in oil & gas industry
• Minimum of 6 years' experience in similar role with PMC
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals of Instrument system (preferred experience with CTMS) design and analysis
• Well versed with ADNOC VAP implementation during the project Define & Execute Stages.
• Knowledge of Work to Permit System (WMS) in the Oil & Gas industry.
