Responsibilities:
Assist the senior designer in Instrumentation design activities by timely developing the drawings as per project and company quality standards
Ability to Analyze & understand Client requirements
Ability to develop Bills of Materials
E3D, SPI, PDS, PDMS, SP3D 3D Modeling or 2D Drafting
Installation layouts (Instrument Location layouts, Air distribution, Main Cable Routing, Secondary cable tray). Building Layouts (Control Room Equipment layout, Earthing layout, Telecom layout). Instrument standard installation / Hookups and Cable block diagram
Loop drawing, wiring diagram in 2D as well as in SPI
Ensures effective communications among other engineering disciplines and project management
Coordinate within members of discipline, other engineering disciplines within the organization or project team as well as with Clients, third parties, vendors etc.
Participate in progress review meetings and be aware of project status, progress, delays, change notices, performance measurement, lessons learned and close-out
Takes personal responsibility for safety and a healthy environment on the projects
Should be able to add value plus/ optimization ideas
Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation or Electronics and Communication
15+ years' experience in I&C design, with minimum 5+ Years Engineering consultancy
In-depth knowledge of design tools - AutoCAD / Micro station
E3D, SPI, PDS, PDMS, SP3D 3D Modeling software experience
Ability to organize and set priorities
Ability to communicate and present effectively
Ability to report in in English, both verbal & in writing.
