:Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior HVAC Engineer (PMC/Engineering) to join our team in Sharjah, UAE.Responsibilities:PMC

• Ensure quality and accuracy of EPC Contractor\'s and Vendor\'s Discipline design activities
• Review and approval of EPC Contractor\'s work and ensure compliance with project specifications, relevant codes and standards, and best industry practices in compliance with the contractual review periods
• Participate in layout reviews, Model review, design reviews, and technical workshops

ENGINEERING

• Generate required engineering deliverables relevant to Discipline
• Coordinate and deliver the required engineering participation in the development and analysis of various design options and business models
• Contribute input and expertise in the development and analysis of various design options and business models to design optimization and validation
• Perform Equipment sizing / equipment selection considering optimization and standardization
• Perform technical reviews and bid evaluation, and performance evaluation

GENERAL

• Ensure that the facilities are designed in accordance with the latest corporate guidelines with respect to environment and health aspects
• Provide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline engineers
• Provide technical assistance during installation, pre-commissioning & commissioning

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in oil and gas industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent technical team and interpersonal skills
• Experience and detailed knowledge of relevant international codes and standards
• Knowledge of engineering computer programs and general business software
• Ability to make independent decisions in the planning, organizing and coordinating to develop solutions to complex problems
• Understanding of project status and schedule/commercial impacts due to modifications or changes to engineering
• Self-starter and flexibility to manage and deliver both PMC and engineering activities
