The role of the HR Generalist is to assist in the day-to-day operational tasks of the HR department.
Responsibilities (included, but not limited to):
Answer, assist and direct all phone calls from employees;
Answer, assist and direct all e-mails from employees;
Write and deliver all certificate requests from employees;
Assist with recruitment and first phase interview process, including scheduling interviews, gathering all official information, filling correct forms, distributing and collecting personality tests, manage interview schedule;
Maintain file for new applications and send follow - up letter to applicants;
Manage attendance records;
Process new hire paperwork and logistics;
Schedule all required new employee training sessions
Process change of status, title changes, transfers, dept/location, etc.
Manage health insurance records, enrollment and withdrawals;
Liaise with employees on medical benefits, conduct benefits enrollment for new employees, answer questions concerning existing coverage, resolve outstanding claims issues, and process terminations of coverage;
Assist with conducting Exit Interviews
Maintain an impeccable filing system;
Type, file, copy, and distribute correspondence, memos and directives as required
Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation;
Maintain human resource data bases, computer software systems, and manual filing systems.
Prepare, process and distribute payroll.
Requirements:
3-5 years of human resources experience or administrative assistant experience.
Two-year college degree or completion of a specialized relevant course.
Strong discipline and commitment to an organized working method;
Quality and detail orientation;
Capacity to impose rules and procedures;
Excellent professional standard;
Efficient time management skills;
Efficient and unconditional conclusion of requested tasks and scheduled working plan;
Fluent in English;
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
