Ensure that all table top items are clean and in good repair.
Arrange the restaurants seating plan in line with reservations, and Restaurant General Manager requirements.
Set-up hostess desk according to the standards.
Greet the guest in a friendly and courteous manner according to the standards.
Seat the guest according to the standards of Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi
Assist with service as required by the superiors.
Handle all telephone bookings and enquiries.
Ensure that the management team is kept informed of all guest comments and complaints.
During closing procedure ensure that all table top items are collected and cleaned as per the standards set by Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental.
To be present in the restaurant during service hours.
Ensure that all menus, beverage lists, and guest collateral items are kept clean and undamaged according to the standards set by Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental.
Assist the Restaurant General Manager in maintaining all guest history records.
Attend communication meeting and keep notes of all briefings and training sessions as required by the Restaurant Manager, Learning & Development Team and Food and Beverage Manager.
To keep uniform neat and clean and ensure personal grooming and hygiene is in line with standards set by Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental.
To understand and comply with all corporate and hotel policies and standard operating procedures.
