Greeneration, the UAE-based FoodTech company, seeks a Senior Grower to join the Dubai team.

Greeneration produces rare crops and ingredients on a tech-driven vertical farm and develops innovative food products. Our target audience includes restaurants, hotels, private chefs, and retail chains.

Responsibilities:

Oversee production plans and trimming schedules to ensure optimal crop health and productivity. Monitor and adjust environmental factors (temperature, humidity, light, CO2) using climate control systems to maximise yields. Prepare and manage nutrient solutions for all growth stages via hydroponic systems, ensuring balanced plant nutrition. Implement pest and disease prevention strategies using biological controls and Integrated Pest Management (IPM). Conduct daily quality control checks on crops and maintain clean, sanitised growing spaces. Check and maintain the records of daily and weekly SOPs and report to Management. Collect and report crop performance data and environmental conditions to management. Supervise maintenance of growing systems (lighting, irrigation, nutrient delivery) and promptly address system issues. Lead, mentor, and train growers, ensuring smooth operations and team development. Manage harvesting processes, ensuring efficiency and product quality. Oversee inventory management and ensure timely replenishment of farming supplies. Collaborate with R&D, logistics, and marketing teams to align farming operations with company goals.

Requirements:

Demonstrated experience and proficiency in hydroponic farming techniques, with a strong understanding of plant physiology, nutrient management, and environmental control. Strong managerial skills. Highly adaptable and capable of effectively managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels. Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges in farm operations. Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Agronomy, Plant Science, or a related field is preferred but not required. Full-time availability and willingness to work flexible hours as needed

Conditions:

Monday - Saturday (can be modified) 6am-3pm, 1 hour lunch break paid vacation (probation period also 6 month) paid overtime work
