Join our team! The Baker Hughes Technical Team is made up of industry leading subsurface experts working collaboratively with internal and external clients delivering studies and innovative, integrated solutions to complex subsurface challenges in both oil, gas and energy transition fields.

Partner with the best The role is expected to bring technical differentiation with expertise in geology and reservoir modeling throughout the field life cycle. As a Senior Geology Advisor, you will be responsible for: · Leading and executing subsurface project work for Gaffneycline · Providing geology and geomodelling expertise to subsurface studies in the oil and gas and energy transition areas. · Applying existing technologies, approaches, methodologies in new combinations to design innovative workflows for solving complex problems. · Managing complex projects · Assisting with internal and external training and mentoring. · Collaborating with other technical professionals in multi-disciplinary projects. · Providing technical support to regional & global product lines · Maintaining frequent intra-organizational and external customer contacts · Provide technical input to business development activities · Demonstrating compliance to company policies, for the entire team, including HSE compliance.

Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: · Have a Bachelor's degree in Geology · Have a good understanding of all aspects of petroleum geosciences, including seismic interpretation, petrophysical analysis and reservoir engineering principles · Have minimum 15 years of industry experience, of which at least 10 years working (as an employee or consultant) for an oil exploration and production company or international service company with expertise in Geomodelling and development related geology. · Have specific expertise in the use of geomodelling applications including Petrel (is a must) · Be able to create, run and update a static reservoir model without supervision. · Have the capacity to integrate G&G interpretations with other subsurface data to produce reliable 3D geological (Static) models. · Demonstrate strong uncertainty assessment and quantification capabilities. · Have practical experience in monitoring on-going reservoir modelling and study projects. · Contributes to the design of well paths: vertical, deviated, horizontal and multilaterals to maximize productivity. · Have good understanding of petrophysical logs and their QC. · Be capable along with other Asset representatives to identify perforation intervals, utilizing well data and geological models. · Have basic knowledge of natural fractures/fracture modeling. · Provide geological input including resource evaluations, unitization and redetermination assessments, and field development studies, and construct and audit reservoir geomodels for assets with varying data availability · Be a team player and maintains good working relations with other members.
