What the Role Entails
1. Data Analytics:Conduct comprehensive data analysis to derive insights and trends using analytical platforms and advanced Excel techniques.
Apply statistical methods to interpret data accurately and make data-driven recommendations.
Develop automated tools and processes to streamline data analysis.
Create clear and informative data visualizations to convey key insights to stakeholders.
2. Publishing Strategy:Conduct market research and competitor analysis in the gaming industry, with a strong focus on local insights and user behaviors in MENA.
Develop comprehensive publishing strategies tailored to the local gaming audience.
Ensure the alignment of content, branding, and KOL strategy with regional gaming habits.
Work closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to refine and execute strategies.
Create and deliver effective presentations to communicate insights and plans.
3. Local User & Market Insights:Develop a deep understanding of MENA gaming culture, trends, and consumer behavior.
Analyze local gaming habits, content preferences, and monetization patterns.
Incorporate local insights into marketing campaigns, community engagement, and game positioning.
Ensure game messaging and branding resonate with MENA players.
4. Project Management:Plan and execute publishing projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery.
Manage multiple tasks and priorities, balancing local and HQ expectations.
Work independently and problem-solve challenges related to game publishing.
Who We Look For
1. Core Skills:Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in data analytics and/or publishing strategy (preferably in the gaming industry).
Strong understanding of MENA gaming trends, user habits, and market insights.
Proficiency in analytical platforms & advanced Excel skills.
Strong storytelling and presentation skills (PowerPoint experience preferred in consulting environments).
Ability to work with diverse teams and manage multiple projects.
Passion for gaming and understanding of different game genres, especially within MENA.
2. Good to Have:Experience working with game communities and esports ecosystems in MENA.
Knowledge of gaming payment systems and monetization strategies in the region.
Proficiency in Arabic is a plus but not mandatory.
Understanding of local IPs, content trends, and culturally relevant gaming experiences.
3. Gaming Proficiency:Deep knowledge and passion for gaming, with experience across various game genres.
Strong familiarity with MENA gaming culture and player preferences.
Ability to assess game mechanics, engagement patterns, and community interactions.
Understanding of KOL dynamics, esports influence, and content marketing in the gaming space.
