This critical role will serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, driving financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes to support the company's growth and operational efficiency. Lead the development and execution of the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts.
Provide accurate and timely financial projections, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Partner with cross-functional teams to align forecasts with operational plans.
Business Analysis and Decision Support:
Perform in-depth analysis of business performance, including variance analysis, key performance indicators (KPIs), and profitability metrics.
Provide actionable insights to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
Lead scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to evaluate potential risks and opportunities.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present detailed financial reports to regional and global stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and reporting standards.
Develop dashboards and visualizations for real-time monitoring of business performance.
Strategic Partnering:
Collaborate with business units to drive financial discipline and support strategic initiatives.
Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing recommendations to optimize financial outcomes.
Drive cost-saving initiatives and identify areas for operational efficiency.
Team Leadership:
Mentor and manage a team of FP&A professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Build strong working relationships across functions and regions to promote collaboration and data sharing.
Systems and Process Improvement:
Enhance FP&A processes, tools, and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Lead implementation of new financial systems or upgrades, ensuring user adoption and integration.
Leverage technology and automation to streamline reporting and analysis.
Who You Arexe2x80xa6
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA/CFA preferred.
Experience:
8-12 years of experience in FP&A or financial management roles, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis in a multinational organization.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, advanced Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).
Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry regulations, pricing, and market access considerations is a plus.
Leadership Skills:
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
