Job Description

Supervision and support on breakdowns, corrective and preventive Maintenance / repair activities of Shiplift's, transfer system and other yard fixed and mobile assets.



Supporting department on troubleshooting, carrying out breakdown, corrective and preventive maintenance of electrical and electronics included but not limited to PLC's, Drive Units (VFD), power supply units.



Supporting department functions by improvements in electromechanical system.



Responsible for the more in-depth fault diagnosis and troubleshooting on the equipment, using test equipment as required.



To support on providing the required necessary handover and power tools, work benches and equipment's, it utilization and ensuring proper and efficient usage for the maintenance activities.



Ensuring preventive maintenance of the yard fixed assets are being carrying out within time in compliance with work instructions and OEM instructions.



Knowledge of using the asset management and maintenance system, including but not limited to:


Define and manage assets.


Work definitions.


Manage maintenance work orders.


Work orders execution and costing.


Supporting supervision on daily and weekly basis for the scheduled maintenance work orders.





Electromechanical repair and maintenance of the MV and LV power distribution, control system and associated network.


In-depth knowledge on Maintenance and repair of drive units, VFD and power supply units including control board and components.





Directing his team to carry out preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance of all building properties of DMC.
