The Role
Overview: The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across multiple companies and projects. The role includes collaborating with various internal teams, external auditors, and business heads to ensure financial alignment with the company's goals and compliance with applicable laws and IFRS. The individual will play a key role in providing financial insights, developing financial models, and supporting senior management in decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities: Budgeting & Financial Planning o Prepare and manage Annual Budgets across companies and projects. o Develop financial forecasts and reports to support senior management decision-making. o Review financial feasibilities and business plans for various projects, ensuring alignment with objectives. Financial Reporting & Analysis o Prepare monthly MIS reports for CEO & CFO with detailed financial performance analysis. o Ensure compliance with IFRS and applicable laws in financial reports. o Consolidate financials at the group level and provide regular project status updates. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement o Work with IT teams and Business Heads to implement ERP systems. o Liaise with external auditors to resolve queries and ensure smooth audits. o Interact with procurement, commercial, and project teams to align procurement, contracts, and project schedules. Project Financial Oversight o Develop financial models to assess project performance and financial risks. o Collaborate with Project Managers and QS to monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budgets/BOQs. o Prepare projected cash flow, balance sheets, and income statements for projects and the company. Policy Implementation & Compliance o Implement and manage financial policies in line with company vision, regulations, and IFRS. o Review legal and commercial contracts to ensure financial benefit and compliance with payment terms.
Requirements
• Professional qualification in Finance, Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Management Accountant (CMA), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) & Degree in Accounting or Finance. o At least 7+ years of experience with 3 years post Qualification. o Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction or development finance, with a strong focus on budgeting, financial planning, and project management. o Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial regulations, with proven expertise in financial modeling and ERP systems. o Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders. o Experience in managing and mentoring teams, with a focus on cost control, financial analysis, and project risk management. o Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
