Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management: Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Accounting Oversight: Manage and monitor all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
• Internal Controls: Develop and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial records.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making, including profitability analysis, cost management, and investment appraisals.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Audit Coordination: Coordinate the preparation and management of internal and external audits.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, including tax laws and reporting standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems. Advanced Excel skills are essential.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
• Leadership: Proven leadership and team management experience. Ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve goals.
