The Purpose of the Role


As a Senior Finance Manager Business Analysis and Planning here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic and operational planning and analysis for the Industrial Automation (IA) Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. You will lead planning and forecasting cycles and drive the development and implementation of data-driven strategies and ensuring the delivery of exceptional business insights. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop business insights and drive forecasting accuracy. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable plans. You will develop and implement analysis strategies and guidelines, ensuring accuracy and coherence across all business units in the region.



You will report directly to the CFO for IA MENA, and work out of our Dubai, United Arab Emirates location.





Responsibilities:


• Lead and manage all planning and reporting cycles including biweekly pulse meetings, monthly operating reviews and the annual operating plan (AOP)
• Collaborate with cross-functional finance and business teams to ensure robust forecast and explanations
• Develop weekly and monthly reporting packages with key drivers and analytics behind results including actions to enhance performance


• Lead the biweekly pulse meetings, ensuring all inputs are in place to develop a quarterly forecast with risks and opportunities ensuring plans are in place by businesses to mitigate risks and drive materialization of opportunities.
• Develop revenue and profitability walks to ensure financial results can be explained with business and market drivers


• Point for global BAP teams to address ad hoc requests, submission of packages, coordinating regional calendar with global due dates


• Develop financial messaging and decks for key operating and reporting reviews


• Continuously look for process improvement and opportunities to simplify to make finance workload more effective across the regional finance organization


• Use digital finance tools to ensure forecasts are loaded accurately, retrieve data for analysis and reporting. Automate tasks where the opportunity exists


• Support Regional GM and CFO to perform ad hoc tasks including one-off analysis, address global requests including those from corporate high growth organizations


• Lead and manage one analyst

• Minimum 10 years of experience in finance roles including business analysis and planning, with significant leadership experience


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills


• Proficiency in data analysis, usage of digital tools and techniques


• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field
