The Senior Social Media Executive plays a key role in executing DP World's regional social media strategy. They implement innovative social campaigns, analyse performance, and ensure alignment with the company's global brand and communications initiatives. This role directly contributes to building a strong online presence and supporting DP World's business objectives.
• Content Management:
+ Work closely with agencies and partners to support the development of social media content calendars that align with marketing and communications initiatives and strategies for the various DP World businesses.
+ Work under the supervision of the Manager Brand, Digital & Social with internal and external stakeholders and business units to create content that fits their communication strategies while staying true to DP World's branding and communication guidelines.
+ Collaborate with agencies to craft engaging social media copy, ensuring it reflects the unique voice of each DP World brand while maintaining brand consistency.
+ Develop and improve the visual direction of the social media accounts following the latest trends and ensuring it adheres to the DP World brand guidelines.
+ Guide agencies in sourcing and selecting images, videos, or other visual content for social media posts, ensuring alignment with each brand's guidelines and visual language.
+ Advise agencies on content scheduling while ensuring timely and accurate posting.
+ Stay informed of broader DP World brand as well as social media competition and trends to guide agencies for optimal social media alignment.
+ Ideation development for campaigns and international occasions with relevance to the business.
+ Craft compelling narratives that resonate with our target audience while communicating the brand message.
• Community Management (Monitoring and Support):
+ Monitor social media channels for comments, questions, and customer feedback across various DP World brand accounts and advise agencies on optimal responses.
+ Support agencies in identifying and escalating potential customer service issues or reputational risks to the appropriate team members or manager.
+ Monitor online conversations relevant to DP World brands, offering support and insights to agencies regarding community engagement opportunities.
• Analytics and Optimisation:
+ Help agencies track and analyse key social media metrics for various DP World brand accounts.
+ Assist agencies in preparing reports on social media performance, engagement, and reach, providing insights for continuous optimization.
+ Identify trends and provide recommendations to agencies to improve content and campaigns across individual brands.
+ Ensure that agencies are delivering social media reports in a timely manner and verify the accuracy and content of the reports.
• Campaign Support:
+ Collaborate with internal teams and agencies in executing day to day social media components of marketing campaigns across DP World brands, providing input.
+ Support agencies in setting up social media advertising campaigns and monitor performance, suggesting adjustments as needed.
• Professional Development:
+ Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, particularly for agency-comms-stakeholder collaboration.
+ Continue developing expertise in social media, multi-brand management, and agency collaboration.
• Technical Competencies:
+ Social Media Platforms: Deep understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and their best practices.
+ Social Strategy: Solid grasp of the social media strategy, content development, and community engagement principles.
+ Data-Informed: Strong understanding of social media analytics, metrics, and reporting.
+ Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly the ability to provide clear, concise direction to agencies.
+ Project Management: Ability to track timelines, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and ensure timely completion of projects.
+ Multi-Brand Awareness: Understanding of managing social media across multiple brands.

• Essential Qualification:
+ Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Work Experience:
+ 2-4 years of experience in social media, marketing, or communications, with demonstrated experience in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
• Preferred Skills:
+ Experience with social media management/analytics/listening tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Brandwatch, Emplify, Meltwater).
+ Knowledge of social media advertising platforms would be a plus.
+ Fluent in English with proficiency in Arabic as a strong advantage.
