:Position Objective:The Senior Executive - Legal will support the Legal Team in reviewing, drafting, and managing leasing contracts, other standard commercial agreements, maintaining leasing records and tracking the execution and renewals of contracts. The role requires coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth lease execution and renewals.Role Focus:
Leasing contracts - 80%
Commercial Contracts - 20%
Key Responsibilities
Review and draft Lease Agreements, lease proposals, letters, and other related documents.
Review various commercial contracts including Purchase Agreements, Service Agreements, Maintenance Contracts, Marketing Agreements, and Confidentiality Agreements.
Coordinate with landlords, tenants, and legal teams for lease execution.
Maintain a well-organized database of leasing contracts, amendments and renewals.
Track and ensure timely execution of contracts and Ejari registrations.
Prepare periodic reports on lease status, expirations, and contract compliance, ensuring proper filing and document control.
Requirements
Education: Law degree from a recognized university.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in lease management, preferably in the retail, leasing, or hospitality sector (at least 2 years in the GCC).
Skills & Knowledge: Strong understanding of rental laws and lease agreements, excellent contract drafting skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders efficiently.
