Responsibilities and Areas of Focus:
• Lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap development in alignment with client and business needs.
• Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals.
• Prioritise and manage the product backlog, ensuring features and improvements are aligned with overall business objectives.
• Monitor project progress, facilitating agile ceremonies, and addressing any impediments to ensure timely delivery.
• Analyse market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to continuously improve and innovate product offerings.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance within the team.
Main Tasks:
Technical & Product:
• Acquire and maintain a deep understanding of relevant technologies, platforms, and processes to guide product development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical feasibility and high-quality delivery of product features.
• Implement best practices in product management, including user story creation, acceptance criteria definition, and backlog grooming.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions into the product lifecycle.
Business Acumen & Operational Efficiency:
• Develop a strong understanding of business objectives, market dynamics, and customer needs to inform product decisions.
• Implement efficient processes to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and maximise resource utilisation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Balance long-term strategic goals with short-term operational needs, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
Innovative & Analytical Mindset:
• Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging creative problem-solving and out-of-the-box thinking within the team.
• Utilise data-driven insights and analytical tools to make informed product decisions and measure success.
• Conduct thorough analysis of product performance, user feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies for continuous product innovation and differentiation in the market.
Qualifications Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, preferably in an IT or digital project management environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira or Trello.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and manage the entire product lifecycle.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex digital products or projects on time and within budget.
• Experience with user experience design, customer journey mapping, and user testing is a plus.
