Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Estimator with strong knowledge in Interior Fit out Works. As a Senior Estimator, you will supervise a team of `estimators, be responsible for providing detailed and budget estimates for interior fit-out, Loose Furniture, Timber Doors, Joinery Works.

This is a full-time position based in Dubai, UAE.

We are hiring only candidates who have a minimum of 5-7 years' experience in a Fit-out and Joinery company and are currently in UAE.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing complete quantity take-off, analysis, and estimate, and studies for all deliverables involved in the assigned scope of joinery, wooden and fit out works.
• Calculating the cost of materials and labor required to complete the project.
• Conduct estimation and cost control activities to ensure projects stay within budget.
• Define more cost-efficient alternatives to the proposed scope of project.
• Maintaining supplier / subcontractor database and consistently seeking new companies to pre- qualify for inclusion on tender list.
• Supervise a team of Estimators

Skills & Requirements

• A bachelor's in civil engineering, architecture or equivalent years of work experience.
• You should have at least 5-7 years' experience in estimation & costing with Joinery and fit-out company. Minimum 3 years in UAE is desirable.
• High proficiency in numeracy and strong analytical skills. Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy.
• Ability to read and have a good understanding of CAD.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally.
• Good interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills.
• Project management skills.

Pay: Commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience.
