Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for interior fit-out projects based on project specifications, drawings, and site conditions.
Analyze project requirements and identify key cost drivers to ensure accurate pricing.
Review and interpret tender documents, drawings, and specifications to develop a comprehensive understanding of project scope.
Provide detailed breakdowns of labor, material, equipment, and overhead costs for each project.
Collaboration with Project Teams:
Work closely with project managers, designers, and procurement teams to gather information and ensure accurate cost forecasting.
Provide input during the project planning and design phase to optimize cost efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
Support project teams by advising on cost-effective solutions and suggesting value-engineering opportunities to meet project budgets.
Supplier and Subcontractor Coordination:
Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure that the project is quoted competitively.
Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best prices, quality, and delivery schedules.
Maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to stay updated on pricing trends, market conditions, and new products.
Cost Control & Budget Management:
Monitor project costs against initial estimates to identify discrepancies and recommend adjustments during the execution phase.
Identify areas for cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality and project timelines.
Ensure that all estimates are aligned with company financial policies and project profitability goals.
Risk Assessment & Analysis:
Conduct thorough risk assessments and identify potential risks in the cost estimation process.
Analyze changes in scope, schedule, or project design to update cost estimates and communicate the impact of these changes to the relevant stakeholders.
Preparation of Tender Documentation:
Prepare and submit tender documentation, including detailed cost estimates, for both private and public sector projects.
Review and evaluate the scope of work to ensure that all aspects of the project are covered in the estimate.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare cost reports, budgets, and other documentation for senior management, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Track and document changes to the estimate and update cost reports as necessary during project execution.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
