Job Description
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Receive project enquiries and tenders from the sales team or directly from the client.
- Study the complete tender specifications and engineering documents received from the client.
- Conduct site surveys, if required, to understand project specification & client requirements.
- Draft preliminary functional design specification, develop control architecture and control philosophy based on client specifications.
- Derive detailed bill of quantities in support of the tender.
- Prepare the technical and commercial bids on behalf of the company.
- Interact with suppliers & principals to get the appropriate technical solutions and prices.
- Interact with clients for any technical clarifications on the tender and develop and finalize TBE forms.
- Conduct commercial meetings with clients as and when required.
- On award of the contract, hand over all the technical details of the enquiry to design and project execution department
- Oversee activities of the estimation team who are working on various tenders and bids.
- Provide leadership to the estimation team.
- Assess the training needs of the estimation team and ensure that skill development initiatives are in place.
- Develop long-term relationships with strategic suppliers and capitalize on partnership opportunities.
- Ensure compliance to the values of the organization and to all applicable policies and procedures.
- Perform appraisals for direct reportees.
- To Evaluate and maintain records on the time taken to estimate and bid on tenders, the number of tenders being bid in a month and evaluate the success rate of the tenders.
- Sharjah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Do you have knowledge in Control, Automation and Instrumentation Systems
- Do you have degree in Electronics/Electrical/Controls?
- Control, Automation and Instrumentation Systems Projects: 7 years (Preferred)
