Senior Estimation Engineer

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Estimation Engineer to join our dynamic team

Job Role

• Develop accurate, timely and cost-effective estimates of labor and materials for engineering projects.
• Research and analyze technical drawings, blueprints, specifications and other documents to accurately determine project scope, schedule and cost estimates.
• Develop cost models and other tools to assist in estimating.
• Prepare, review and present cost estimates to management.
• Analyze vendor quotations and prepare bid package comparisons.
• Track and monitor project costs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
• Participate in project meetings and maintain open and effective communication with project team.
• Monitor changes to project scope and adjust estimates accordingly.
• Identify cost savings opportunities and recommend process improvements.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in estimating for civil engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of the construction process, materials, and labor costs for infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in using project management and cost estimation software
• Solid understanding of contract law, pricing, and cost control principles.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
