Senior Estimation Engineer
Job Description
• Cost Estimation :
• Analyze project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Evaluate labor, material, and equipment costs.
• Bid Preparation :
• Develop detailed project proposals and bids.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
• Vendor Coordination :
• Obtain and review quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors.
• Project Analysis :
• Conduct risk assessments and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitor and update cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Documentation and Reporting :
• Maintain comprehensive records of estimates, proposals, and project costs.
• Generate detailed cost reports and summaries for management review.
Qualifications :
• Education : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience : 3-5 years of experience in cost estimation within the fabrication or manufacturing industry.
• Technical Skills : Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., AutoCAD, SAP), strong understanding of fabrication processes and materials.
• Soft Skills : Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Certifications : Relevant certifications in cost estimation or project management are a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
