The Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Estimation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely estimates for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) projects. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects by providing precise cost analysis, which will help drive business decisions and enhance project profitability. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of MEP systems, exceptional analytical abilities, and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. Responsibilities: - Review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to prepare accurate estimates for MEP works. - Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of unit costs and pricing for various MEP components and systems. - Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs, ensuring that all aspects of the project are accounted for. - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather relevant information for accurate estimation. - Conduct site visits as necessary to assess project conditions and gather data to inform estimates. - Evaluate and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitiveness and alignment with project requirements. - Assist in the development of project budgets and financial forecasts, providing input on cost control measures. - Prepare and present estimation reports to management, highlighting key assumptions, risks, and opportunities. - Continuously update and refine estimation processes and tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency in preparing estimates. - Participate in project meetings to provide insights on cost implications and assist in decision-making processes.



Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering -Mechanical. - A minimum of 5 years of experience in estimation within the MEP industry, with a strong focus on large-scale projects. - Proficient in estimation software and tools, with a strong understanding of industry-standard practices. - Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail, able to identify discrepancies and provide solutions. - Strong knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and construction methodologies. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. - Professional certifications in estimation or project management (e.g., AACE, PMP) are a plus. - Fluency in English; knowledge of Hindi/Tamil/Arabic is an advantage.
