**What You'll Be Doing:**

+ Lead and manage the EIA process for infrastructure projects, including scoping, impact identification, assessment, and mitigation planning.

+ Identify and evaluate potential environmental risks and impacts associated with project activities.

+ Develop and implement effective mitigation measures to minimize environmental harm.

+ Ensure projects comply with all applicable local environmental laws, regulations, and permits.

+ Prepare and submit high-quality environmental reports, permit applications, and other documentation to clients.

+ Liaise with regulatory agencies and stakeholders on environmental matters, representing the company and project in a professional manner.

+ Collaborate with design engineers and other disciplines to integrate environmental considerations into all phases of project planning and design.

+ Provide technical guidance and support to the project team on environmental best practices and sustainable design principles.

+ Develop and manage environmental aspects of the project budget and schedule.

+ Oversee and mentor junior environmental engineers, providing guidance and support for their professional development.

+ Coordinate with other project team members to ensure the timely and efficient completion of environmental tasks.

+ Conduct site assessments, environmental monitoring programs, and data analysis to track project performance and identify potential issues.

+ Design and implement pollution control and remediation strategies, as needed.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**

+ Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering.

+ Minimum 8+ years of relevant work experience.

+ Must have Qatar MM-UPDA registration or eligibility for registration.

+ Proven expertise in environmental impact assessment, mitigation, and monitoring.

+ In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and apply technical data.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.

+ Proven ability to prepare clear and concise technical reports, presentations, and environmental documentation.

+ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

+ Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.

+ Excellent project management skills, including budget and schedule control.

+ Strong decision-making abilities and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**

+ Arabic-speaker is highly desirable.

+ Master's degree in environmental engineering.

+ Experience in design of water and wastewater treatment systems.

+ Experience with groundwater/hydrological assessments.

+ Proficiency in air quality dispersion and Noise modeling.

+ Experience with specific types of infrastructure projects (e.g., transportation, energy, water resources).

+ Familiarity with GIS software.
