Senior Environmental Engineer**

**Doha, Qatar**

Parsons is now hiring an experienced **Senior Environmental Engineer** with a desire to work on Infrastructure projects. Parsons's extensive experience in this field, combined with your engineering knowledge, will propel your career forward with opportunities for advancement with top performance.

**What You'll Be Doing:**

+ Develop and implement environmental strategies and action plans to ensure corporate sustainable development.

+ Manage the environmental permit processes such as storm waters and sewage infrastructure projects.

+ Coordinate all aspects of pollution control, waste management, recycling, environmental health, conservation, and renewable energy.

+ Lead the implementation of environmental policies and practices.

+ Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and keep up-to-date with new legislation and environmental standards.

+ Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs),baseline surveys, environmental audits and assessments, identifying and resolving environmental problems.

+ Will be involved in reviewing the permit applications, EIA preparations and renewals, project environmental and sustainability data, and contributing to the preparation of various environmental reports that are submitted to the client and regulatory agencies.

+ Ensure that environmental projects are completed on time and within budget.

+ Will be actively engaged in supporting the design teams in minimizing impact of air, groundwater, rainfall water, soil contamination o (dust control, construction water disposal, noise etc.).

+ Provide environmental training and guidance to staff at all levels.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**

+ A Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering / Environmental Sciences from an accredited institution.

+ Professional certification such as Certified Environmental Professional (CEP) or equivalent is required. Internal Accreditations.

+ Chartered status relating to Environmental Engineering (e.g., Chartered Engineer (CEng), Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv), or equivalent) is required.

+ MMUP Registered Engineer is must for locally based applicants.

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:**

+ Master's degree in relevant discipline.

+ Should have valid Qatari driving license.

+ Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and policies.

+ Excellent project management skills,

+ Strong problem-solving, decision-making skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
