Job PurposeLead/conduct reservoir development and production operations including field development planning, reservoir performance analyses and reservoir estimation of production / injection capacities. Lead reservoir Offshore studies, performance review and optimization using appropriate techniques.Job Specific Accountabilities
Carry out all aspects of reservoir Offshore activities including field development, performance evaluation, reservoir & asset evaluation, well prognosis, and supervises the integration between fields.
Identify, justify, develop the implementation of workflow to evaluate and manage the field in line with industry best practices. Uses advanced reservoir-engineering techniques and integrate dynamic & static data to identify field movement and implement optimization plans to maximize profitable recovery.
Monitor fields production and injection capacities according to company objective guidelines along with drilling workover schedules and identify mitigations in case of shortfalls.
Identify workflows to carry out pattern balancing and ensures efficient production and injection process.
Design and lead effort to improve well sector and full field development performance review.
Design and lead the implementation of the project surveillance programs including pressure transient surveys, tracer surveys, interference testing, and observation well placement and cased hole logging programs.
Provide expertise to identify and support reservoir-engineering studies using apocopate techniques, which may include reservoir simulation, material balance, decline curve analysis.
Undertake the most appropriate studies to define the optimum development schemes with associated reserves and production profiles.
Provide technical guarantees of the choices made for the recovery processes envisaged and the most reliable reservoir descriptions.
Provide guidance and oversight on best-in-class reservoir management tenets, practices and state-of-the art- technologies for all hydrocarbon assets.
Utilize reservoir management standards and guidelines to enhance both NPV and hydrocarbon recovery.
Lead, design and participate in integrated field reviews and field development plans.
Lead and participate in reservoir engineering studies that include reservoir stimulation modelling of various IOR processes for improvement of ultimate recovery.

Reports
Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.

Frequent contacts with other upstream units in respect to undeveloped reservoirs activities.
Frequent contacts with work associates within Exploration Unit for matters on drilling operations.
External Communications & Working RelationshipsRegular contacts with concerned staff in Group Companies to discuss, follow-up and review undeveloped reservoirs development projects.Minimum QualificationBachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
8 years of experience in reservoir engineering including oil and gas fields development Offshore and Full Field simulation studies (use of hardware & software models).
Good communication skills
Experience on reservoir dynamic modeling and model history matching is a required
Exposure to reservoir management and field monitoring is required
