This role places a strong emphasis on being a key technical expert, requiring proficiency in programming languages and a profound understanding of operations research analytics. The successful candidate will play a critical role in optimizing the effectiveness of our missile products through advanced analytics and simulation techniques, contributing significantly to the success and advancement of our missile and weapons technology.Key Accountabilities:
Conduct operational analysis of our products, evaluating their performance and capabilities.
Develop sophisticated operational models of our products to enhance understanding and assessment.
Create diverse air, land, and sea scenarios for simulation, ensuring precision and relevance to real-world operational environments.
Execute Monte-Carlo simulations with precision, quantifying uncertainties and accurately assessing the operational effectiveness of our missile systems.
Report findings and insights to product lines and the Head of System Design, providing comprehensive information for decision-making.
Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Python, C++, Matlab, and Full System Simulation for the purpose of conducting complex simulations and operational analyses in synthetic environments.
Independently develop and analyze diverse air, land, and sea scenarios for simulation, ensuring precision and relevance to real-world operational environments.
Execute detailed operational analyses, contributing to the development of advanced operational models that evaluate the performance and capabilities of our missile systems.
Independently analyze simulation results and prepare comprehensive reports, providing actionable recommendations for product enhancements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate Operations Research findings into the product development process.
Actively contribute to knowledge-sharing within the Operations Research team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
Apply advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex challenges related to missile system operations.
Continuously work to optimize the performance and efficiency of Operations Research software, identifying opportunities for enhancement and improvement.
Experience & Education Qualifications:
Minimum: 5 years of experience in Operations Research or a related technical field with a demonstrated proficiency in programming and analytics. Expertise in Python, C++, Matlab, and Full System Simulation. Strong understanding of missile systems and their operational principles
Preferred: 10+ years of experience in the defense or aerospace industry. Demonstrated contributions to successful Operations Research projects or simulations.
Minimum: Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or a related field
Preferred: Master\'s degree in Operations Research, Engineering, Programing or a related field
