From selecting sensors to executing laboratory and flight tests, you\'ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-performance navigation solutions.Key Accountabilities:
Analyze and interpret navigation requirements to translate them into actionable tasks that support project scope and timelines.
Design and develop navigation system concepts, identifying key functions and interfaces.
Collaborate with product management to select sensors and design inertial and hybrid navigation systems.
Set up simulation architectures to facilitate navigation system development and algorithm creation.
Manage and integrate navigation simulation functionality and support formal qualification through vehicle and flight tests.
Provide timely and creative solutions to program and engineering issues, ensuring continuous improvement of navigation systems.
Supervise, coach, and train Junior Engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation in navigation technology.
Experience & Education Qualifications:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in developing algorithms, simulation, and modeling, with at least 3 years in navigation systems development.
Bachelor\'s degree in Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Preferred: 12 years of similar experience with regional industry exposure.
Preferred: Master\'s or Doctorate degree in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering, or certification in control systems and optimal estimation theory.
Proficiency in navigation system architecture and algorithm development, advanced navigation system design, and simulation model and software development.
