As well, we are faster and more flexible in meeting customer requirements.Job Summary:The purpose of this position is to act as supervisor of guidance and control systems development and implementation. The senior engineer will give support to the principal engineers and give guidance to the engineers at the engineer I, engineer II, and junior engineer levels. The person in this position will take up the role of guidance and control systems designer and implementer.Key Accountabilities:
- Supervise any of the departmental technical capabilities not limited to:
- Simulation
- Guidance & Control
- Tracking System
- Software Development [SIL and PIL]
- Lab Testing and Performance Verification
- Mission Planning
- Mentoring Engineers Not Limited To:
- Junior Engineers
- Engineer I
- Engineer II
- Flight Test
- Pre-Flight Preparation
- Flight Test
- Post-Flight Analysis
- Capability Establishment and Tools
- Establish Guidance & Control Capabilities
- Establish Infrastructure, Tools, and Labs
- Supports the principal engineer in the form of technical contributions
- At least 6-10 years\' experience working on guided weapon systems or relevant experience and certifications.
- Bachelor\'s, Master\'s or PhD degree in relevant fields (i.e. electrical, mechanical, embedded systems, aerospace engineering, etc.)
- Experience in the use of engineering tools and developing and implementing guidance and control algorithms.
- Detailed knowledge of the engineering discipline and the development of guided weapon systems.
