JOB PURPOSEThe Sr. Data Management Engineer /Data Analyst is the focal point for all Function related Data manipulation and Reporting. Works with internal & external stakeholders of the function to provide in-depth analysis by extracting insights, uncover patterns, trends, and correlations from the Data to support decision-making processes, optimize operations, and drive function activities allowing the interpretation and identification of inefficiencies, to optimize processes, and improve overall performance highlighting items requiring management intervention.The Data Analyst Engineer must have the ability to process, examine, interpret, and transform raw data into meaningful insights and actionable information, translate functional requirements from the available data into consistent reporting using appropriate advanced analysis tools, provide dashboards and reports that allow timely reporting, must be proficient in using modern systems such as the MSO Power Platform, SharePoint and SQL Database, must be skilled in using Data Analysis programming languages to perform Predictive, Perspective and Time Analysis that track planned, forecasted and actual dates in relation to the time schedule.The Sr. Information Management Engineer - Data Analyst is accountable for Data collection, cleaning and manipulation and developing appropriate visualizations through Power BI(or other tools).KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESData Management Coordination:Act as the primary liaison for Data Management queries for the FunctionCollaborates with Stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of digital data and assets.Understands inter & intra functional requirements for data collection, conditioning, reporting, and turnover.Engineering Data Compliance:Ensures data collection & input are standardized & fit for useMonitors data collection & processing for consistency, accuracy, and global integration.Keeps track of present and historical time variations and moving averages.Uses historical data to predict future events.Searches for anomalies, revealing hidden connections and insights within the information.Develops tools & automations in collaboration with IT organization to facilitate the processes within the function & with the other functions.Information Management Strategy:Collaborates with stakeholders to define the scope of a global dashboard strategy, design, development and deployment of data visualization tools to identify relevant data sources, users, and features which align with business objectives.Develop appropriate information management strategies and plans.Develop & compile Guidelines & procedures to support & detail the strategyData Repository Setup:Coordinate with IT to configure data repositories to meet function requirements.Contribute & lead proposals /initiatives for developing an integrated data management systems/standards.Day-to-Day Data Management:Develop reporting tools for reporting performance, efficiency & target KPI\'sCollects and extracts Raw Data from various sources, cleans, manipulates and publishes daily reports for project teams, highlighting any variations between the original planned dates, forecast dates and actual issue dates.Collects, explores and presents large amounts of data to discover underlying patterns and trends.Performs Time-series analysis (ARIMA) to identify patterns, trends, seasonality, and irregularities in the data observed over different periods useful for understanding the underlying structure of the data.Analyses data exported from EDMS as required to assist Engineering Team.Evaluates function requests for ad-hoc reporting and make recommendations for implementation.Develops from the data extracted from supporting systems, Data Models, Custom Visual, KPI, Trends and Status graphs, to see status of Delays and Correlations.Tracks the progress of the Data Analysis tasks, reporting on delays to generate necessary corrective actionsBuilds the architecture for in-depth Data Analysis to provide the foundation for reporting and dashboarding.Ensure best practices and alignment of document control processes, track document workflows, approvals, and distributions.Setting up of tools that allow the automation of reports regarding status of the projects.Develop of procedures/specifications as requiredParticipates in meetings and ad-hoc workshops with Document Control, Project Controls, Engineering and Project Management Teams for application and Reporting Development.Maintain different tools & registers.Data Quality AssuranceData cleaning for documentation of time analysis.Performs Data Quality checks and highlights data inconsistencies using appropriate analytical tools.QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLSMinimum QualificationBachelor\'s degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.Fluency in English Language, written and oralMinimum Experience & Knowledge & SkillsMinimum of 12 to 15 years Document and Data Management combined with Project Control experience.Administration of electronic database tools to analyze, manipulate and transfer data, ETL.Worked for major Oil & Gas Industries, experienced in all project phases, from FEED, BID, throughout EPC to Start Up, from Client, Contractor, and Engineering perspectives.Expert-level understanding of project information and document management processes.Ability to translate Client requirements into reports for management understanding and consumption.Expert knowledge in document management, data manipulation, interrogation and reporting.Reporting Automatization through Power Bi, Excel using SQL, Office Scripts, Python, R Scripts and Visual Basic for Application.Management of Change processes.Jul 19, 2024
