About the JobThe jobholder is responsible to develop and implementation Condition Monitoring (CM) program for the assigned plants to ensure rotating equipment healthiness and initiates timely recommendations.This role includes; utilizing on-line & off-line hardware/software systems and techniques to minimize failures and reduce maintenance costs, prevent production losses, and improve equipment reliability & availability. And advising and supporting plant Discipline Engineers in performing complex trouble shooting, root-cause failure analysis and reviews design CM parameters to suggest changes as required.Key AccountabilitiesCondition Monitoring
Develop and implement condition monitoring program for the assigned plants to ensure rotating equipment health monitoring & assessment.
Use on-line/off-line MCM systems for vibration analysis, Machine performance analysis and other techniques including Lube-oil analysis to perform troubleshooting.
Implement new monitoring technologies as required to improve diagnostic skills.
Reliability
Initiate timely CM recommendations to avoid unexpected failure, to minimize extent of failures, reduce maintenance costs and prevent production losses.
Support plant Reliability Engineers in root-cause failure analysis and to identify corrective actions plan / Turnaround (TA) job scope with an aim to avoid repeated failure.
Actively participate in Reliability improvement programs to optimize on-line & off-line software database configuration and machinery protection parameters for the assigned plants.
Follow-up and provide advice during field maintenance jobs with the view to problem solving of major failures and enhance equipment reliability.
Analyze strengths and weaknesses of CM approaches / strategies and develop new solutions to enhance reliability standards.
Quality Compliance & Cost
Identify statutory requirements coming from government/ADNOC COP/suppliers/international standards and make procedures, work instructions, checklist to comply with it.
Participate in internal/external audits & prepare a plan to close audit points.
Provide inputs for preparation of budgets, Maintenance\' business Plan by identifying specific items and monitor variance to control the cost.
HSE Excellence
Keep abreast and knowledgeable on the updates for Health, Safety, Environment, Crisis Management, and Risk Registers for all the performed processes, projects, and activities within the operating zone.
Promote, communicate, and lead by example all the safety-related communications, updates, standards, and any related topics with co-workers and within any interface.
Contribute to provide timely feedback and recommendations to leverage a risk-free environment to ensure the ultimate goals of safe workplace.
Minimum Requirements
University degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in oil/gas or petrochemical industry / CM company
Working experience of latest PC based On-Line & Periodic Condition Monitoring systems (Instruments & Software) from Bently Nevada / CSI / SKF
Expert in condition monitoring of high-speed rotating equipment's and maintenance strategies, repairs, diagnostics, and fault analysis.
