Undertaking to build simulation software and operating related software tools (e.g., CAD, energy modeling, loads analysis, daylight modeling, HVAC design tools).
Undertaking IES Virtual Environment software by utilizing all the modules.
Undertaking detailed and in-depth analysis of energy consumption for both new-built and existing buildings.
Delivering energy and decarbonization studies based on client-specific requirements and international green certification systems.
Writing high quality reports for clients presentations and conformance.
Managing projects and resources as needed.
QualificationsTo be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include a minimum of 5 years work experience partnered with a BSc/BEng/BTec in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. MSc in Mechanical/Electrical and control systems will be seen as beneficial.BEMP by ASHRAE, LEED AP, CEM, CEA or equivalent will be viewed favourably. Familiarity wih IES Virtual Environment Software is sought.Job Specific Competencies:
Very good at writing reports associated with progress and site audit compliance associated both with environmental and sustainability/materials compliance aspects.
Knowledge of advanced modeling tools especially proven experience of IES.
Knowledge of Microclimate Analysis and Building Physics.
Strong knowledge of LEED, ASHRAE 90.1, ASHRAE 62.1 analysis, and building commissioning is desirable.
Experience in doing daylight/sunlight assessments will be an advantage.
Working knowledge of Python programming will be beneficial.
