JOB DESCRIPTION - Electrical design for the assigned project interacting with other disciplines, client and vendors as required. Overall supervision of Electrical engineers, designers in the execution of the project and development of project deliverables. Development of Electrical specifications, data sheets, Load lists, equipment List, Single Line Diagrams (MV and LV), Cable Schedules, Drum Schedule, Electrical MTO. Perform all associated Electrical calculations covering, equipment sizing, cable sizing, UPS sizing, Earthing Calculation, Lighting Calculations using Dialux Software etc. Has experience in developing Electrical Substation Layouts in Onshore projects, Cable Routing Layout, Earthing Layout, Lighting Layout. Providing input for 3D modelling activity. Experience in Electrical Control & Monitoring System for developing ECMS Architectural Diagram, I/O List and datasheet etc. Perform/check various power system analysis study - load flow, short circuit, motor starting, transient stability, harmonic analysis, arc flash, protection coordination, etc. Experience in preparation of Material Requisition, Scope of Works, Review of offers, Technical clarifications, Technical bid evaluation and Vendor Drawing Review etc. Carry out site survey and data collection for Electrical design. Preparation of manhour estimates to perform project tasks based on tender scope documents. Participation in Design reviews, E-HAZOP, Energy Optimization review, Value engineering, constructability other workshops. Good understanding of HSE requirements of both self and within the discipline team. Ensuring technical integrity of the Electrical deliverables for the project. In particular ensure compliance with the work scope and with applicable international standards. Work on proposals and prepare MH estimation.

Job Specific Knowledge: Experience in execution of FEED and Detail Engineering for onshore, offshore & downstream Oil and Gas projects. Perform engineering design for power generation, transmission and distribution networks (132kV and below voltage levels), OH lines, Substation automation system, LV and MV Variable Speed Drives, Electrical asset monitoring system etc. Preparation/review of all Engineering deliverables such as specifications, datasheets, Load Lists, Sizing calculations, Single Line Diagrams, Adequacy check reports, Schedules & MTO. Substation layouts & Field layouts for offshore & onshore projects. Guiding 3D modeler for 3D modelling activity. Technical Bid Evaluation for MV & LV Switchgears, Transformers, MV variable Speed drive etc.

Industry Specific Experience:

Good knowledge of ADNOC standards, SHELL DEPs, International standards such as IEEE, ANSI, IESNA, NFPA, IEC Standards.

Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training: Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Chartered Engineer is preferred.

HSE Capability: Good knowledge of Hazardous Area classification, Electrical Safety in design, Sustainable design engineering, E-HAZOP.

IT Skills: Computer skills with MS office and Electrical engineering / sizing software such as SPEL, ETAP, EDSA, SKM, CYME, EMTP, Battery sizing, Lighting calculation softwares, etc.

People Skills: Good communication skill, able to guide team working locally as well as for workshare with centre of excellence and integrated delivery, mentoring junior Engineers.

Other: Good command on English language - verbal as well as writing skills, report writing, presentation to client.

Extent of Guidance or Control: Should be able to guide team of Engineers and Designers, Workshare
