KBR employs approximately 34,000 people worldwide (including our joint ventures), with customers in more than 80 countries, and operations in 40 countries.Job Purpose:The Senior Electrical Engineer will play a key role in the FEED and detail design, onshore, and Brownfield activities of the BP_ROO_EPCM project in Abu Dhabi, overseeing electrical engineering aspects and ensuring the successful delivery of the project.Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and handle detail design and engineering activities for the project.
• Develop electrical specifications, datasheets, calculations, and drawings in compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Review and approve electrical design, plans, and layouts.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and client to ensure the integration of electrical systems into the overall project design.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Attend site visit and inspection to ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards, if required
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
• Participate in project meetings to address electrical engineering related issues.
• Perform Technical Bid Evaluation and vendor document review.

Functional Responsibilities:

• Oversee the design, installation, and testing of electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets for electrical engineering activities.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements in electrical engineering.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in electrical design software and tools
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations
• Experience in designing and implementing electrical systems for O& G projects.

Qualification:

• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or related field
• Relevant experience (12+) in electrical engineering for projects in the oil and gas industry
