We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the contracting, MEP, and construction industries, specifically with experience in Abu Dhabi. The candidate must hold an E-1 certificate and be registered with Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC). A degree in Electrical Engineering is required, and candidates with significant practical experience within the construction sector will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Analysis: Develop and review electrical designs, calculations, and specifications for various projects.

Project Management: Oversee and manage electrical engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Technical Support: Provide technical support and expertise to the engineering and construction teams, including troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues.

Compliance: Ensure all electrical systems and designs comply with local regulations, ADDC standards, industry standards, and best practices.

Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documents, including reports, drawings, and specifications.

Coordination: Work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated and coordinated project delivery.

Site Supervision: Conduct site visits to monitor progress, inspect electrical installations, and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

Vendor Management: Evaluate and select suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to enhance project delivery and efficiency.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 8 years of electrical engineering experience in the contracting, MEP, and construction industries within the Abu Dhabi area, with specific experience on ADDC projects.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required. Candidates with substantial relevant experience will also be considered.

Certification: E-1 certificate and registration with Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC) are mandatory.

Skills:

- Proficiency in engineering software and tools (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

- Strong leadership and project management skills

Knowledge: In-depth understanding of electrical systems, ADDC standards, industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to electrical engineering in the construction sector.
