Key Responsibility


• Prepare Electrical drawings and BIM models for a wide range of infrastructure projects involving the treatment of water and wastewater (sewage, industrial effluent and produced water), seawater intakes and pumping stations, buildings, Ports, etc..
• Responsible for ensuring technical quality, coordination, integrity, and cost-effectiveness of drawings produced.
• Follow guidelines, standards, and procedures to effectively execute assigned work.
• Ensure that the level of design work is appropriate for the complexity of the construction tasks.
• Interface with other members of the design and management team on multiple discipline projects including with the Global Delivery Centres when required.
• Adhere to assigned budgets and schedules.
• Check compliance with QA/Safety/Environment goals.
• Quality Assurance - Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Worley Quality Management System.
• Safety - Responsible for personal safety and implementing safe working practices.
• HSE - Understand and follow OH&S procedures.


Job Specific Knowledge:


• Competent in the use of software such as Revit, AutoCAD (2D and 3D), MS Office, Dia-lux, Agi32 (or similar lighting calculation apps). ETAP, Easy Power experience is preferred.
• Experienced in the designing and detailing of infrastructure projects, water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations. Experienced in clash detection of utilities design.
• Experienced in preparation of MV and LV single line diagrams, substation layout/sections, wiring diagrams, layouts and details of indoor lighting, sockets, earthing systems, UPS-Battery banks, Generator rooms/systems, lightning protection, site/road lighting, panel arrangement, ELV systems such as fire alarm, access control, public announcement etc., tables and lists associated with electrical works and installations.
• Preparation of material list take offs from the drawings.
• Experienced in a consulting engineering environment over the whole lifecycle of a project including concept, FEED and Detailed Design.
• Conduct site investigations.

Job Specific Experience:


• Relevant design experience in a range of industrial infrastructure projects.
• Preference will be given to candidates with:
• Experience working in the Middle East.
• Experience in industrial infrastructure projects.
