Job Summary:The Senior Electrical Engineer will design and oversee the installation of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards. They will prepare detailed electrical drawings and conduct comprehensive calculations for load, voltage drop, and cable sizing using software tools like AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks. This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and effective communication with stakeholders. The ideal candidate shall have a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in electrical engineering, 10 years of experience, and familiarity with UAE authority requirements such as DEWA and ADDC.Key Responsibilities:Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the below:
- Designing all electrical systems to ensure compliance with standards and local regulations, such as DEWA, ADDC, and UAE FIRE CODE.
- Lead the design and development of electrical systems for various projects, including commercial, industrial, and residential.
- Creating detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts for various electrical systems including lighting design, power distribution, cable routing, fire alarm, earthing, and lightning protection. Preparing comprehensive electrical design documents using AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
- Conducting detailed electrical calculations such as load analysis, short-circuit analysis, voltage drop calculations, and cable sizing using appropriate software tools and engineering principles.
- Collaborating closely with architects and other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical systems into project designs, and providing technical guidance to external stakeholders throughout the design and coordination process
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members
- Oversee electrical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
