Senior DraftsmanJob roleThe ideal candidate will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by designers. Producing accurate and detailed drawings, collaborating with design and architectural teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements, and making revisions based on feedback. The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of drafting techniques, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities
Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD software.
Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and specifications.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards in all drafting work.
Update and modify existing drawings based on design changes and feedback.
Generate bills of materials and material take-offs from drawings.
Assist in resolving design issues and providing technical support during project execution.
Maintain organized files and documentation for easy reference and retrieval.
Work closely with project managers to meet deadlines and project milestones.
Conduct quality checks on drawings to identify and correct errors.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in AutoCAD software to enhance drafting skills.
Mentoring: Provide guidance and oversee the work of junior drafters.
