Digital Products, Authentication & Identity team is responsible for identifying new opportunities that exist within the digital payment landscape, creating strategies that define Visa's participation in those opportunities, and delivering the capabilities required to enable and drive them. Within the team Authentication Platforms and Services Sr. Product Manager will work with a diverse set of Visa stakeholders (issuers, merchants, 3DS and token service providers and Cardinal Commerce) to deliver solutions based on Visa authentication platforms and Fraud management. This role assumes product ownership for authentication area in the region, development and execution of the strategy, commercialization of our solutions, managing the ecosystem readiness and performance, driving revenues. Responsibilities
Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for authentication and fraud management platforms, programs and services for 3-D Secure and Tokenization technologies,
Take active part in the development, planning and execution of global and regional strategic initiatives, pursuing long-term goals
Manage commercialization of VCAS, VTS and 3DS authentication technologies, including ecosystem readiness and monetization,
Be responsible for operating plans, annual KPIs and creating plans for the CEMEA region, based on the alignment with sub-regional Digital Solutions teams and in close collaboration with the Business Process Operations function.
Act as a technical and product SME by being able to understand the platforms in their entirety including but not limited to: overall architecture, integration options, connections with other systems and services, features and capabilities, implementation nuances, pricing, risks, rules, etc.
Work with sub-regional Digital Solution (DS) teams, Specialized sales and Client Services to support successful deal closure and be able to provide level 1 support to external and internal stakeholders on authentication platforms, programs and services,
Maintain client satisfaction by supporting engagements resulting in successful go-lives through the sub-regional Business Development, DS teams and Client Services,
Work with Global and sub-regional DS teams to contribute to developing internal and external product documentation that also includes product and technical integration guides in support of 3DS and authenticated tokens,
Manage and drive the performance of the authentication platforms and programs in the region,
Work in conjunction with sub-regional DS teams to commercialize plans of frictionless authentication (setting goals and roll-out activities, maintain and regularly update pipeline)
Work in close cooperation with sub-regional DS and Client Services teams to develop CEMEA specific go to market strategy, including planning of specific Business Enhancement Releases together with preparing and publishing relevant documentation
Identify and recommend improvements and enhancements to authentication platforms and services to Global product owners based on new business opportunities, use cases. This includes but not limited to gathering requirements from the sub-regional DS and Client Services teams
Write and review business requirements documentation, product specifications and requirements papers
As and when required work on solutions that would help improve the productivity of the team and program management
As and when required work on solutions with relevant stakeholders to address market specific needs
Ensure the key metrics/KPIs for authentication area for the region are on track and responsible for progress reporting and interpretation
Required to collaborate closely with cross functional teams to analyze requirements of new core products, digital products and services or initiatives to support the business
Deliver specialized operational output on complex initiatives without predefined instructions through individual efforts and matrix management.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
Bachelors degree required in computer/electrical engineering or computer science, or equivalent technology expertise and acumen acquired through work experience
Requires a minimum of 6+ years progressively responsible experience in product development, management in eCommerce and or in payments systems integration and/or digital payments
Ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear and articulate fashion to both technical and non-technical audiences internally and externally, at varying management level
Ability to work across multiple teams in an organization
A technically minded candidate with project and program management experience
Independent decision making required on daily basis with minimal oversight from senior members of staff
Complex and varied workload, requiring support of multiple ongoing product development, product solution and implementation
Advanced planning, organizational and problem-solving skills, short- and mid-term strategic planning, managing financials
Exceptional project and program management skills with the ability to manage multiple activities with both internal and external stakeholders
Advanced written and verbal communication skills, exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills and the proven ability to influence and communicate effectively across regional and functional lines
Required experience in payment standards, authentication concepts
The ideal candidate will have experience with EMV-based programs (i.e. EMV 3-D Secure, EMV Tokenization) and other industry-recognized technologies (e.g. FIDO)
Understanding of Web technologies, online/remote payments and in-app payments, biometrics
Excellent PowerPoint and Excel Skills
Ability to travel as required
