We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in Kubernetes, microservices architecture, AWS, and Datadog to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage our infrastructure and deployment processes, focusing on microservices-based applications, CI/CD pipelines, and comprehensive monitoring solutions. Key Responsibilities:Kubernetes Management:
Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters for microservices across various environments (development, staging, production).
Ensure high availability, performance, and security of Kubernetes clusters.
Develop Helm charts and Kubernetes operators to streamline microservices deployment.
Microservices Architecture:
Develop and manage microservices infrastructure using Kubernetes and other container orchestration tools.
Ensure seamless integration and communication between microservices.
Implement and manage service discovery, load balancing, and API gateways.
AWS Management:
Design and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, Lambda).
Optimize AWS resources to ensure cost efficiency and performance.
Implement security best practices in AWS, including IAM policies, VPC configurations, and security groups.
CI/CD Pipeline Development:
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for microservices applications using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
Automate the build, test, and deployment processes to ensure rapid and reliable delivery of software.
Integrate CI/CD pipelines with Kubernetes for continuous deployment.
Infrastructure Automation:
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
Develop scripts and tools to manage and monitor infrastructure resources effectively.
Monitoring and Incident Management:
Implement and manage monitoring solutions using Datadog for applications and infrastructure.
Develop dashboards, alerts, and metrics in Datadog to provide visibility into system performance and health.
Perform routine system administration tasks, including incident response and root cause analysis.
Datadog Integration:
Integrate Datadog with Kubernetes, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines to monitor applications and services effectively.
Configure Datadog agents and manage Datadog API integrations for automated monitoring and alerting.
Analyze and optimize monitoring strategies to ensure comprehensive observability and proactive issue detection.
Collaboration and Support:
Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the application lifecycle.
Provide support for troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and application issues.
Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with security standards and practices.
Qualifications:Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
5+ years of experience in DevOps or related fields.
3+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and microservices in a production environment.
Extensive experience with AWS services and cloud-native architectures.
Proven experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for complex applications.
Experience with Datadog or similar monitoring and observability platforms.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Kubernetes (K8s) and containerization technologies (Docker).
