Senior DetailerJob roleThe ideal candidate will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by designers, focusing on creating highly specific and precise technical drawings for construction or fabrication. The role requires in-depth knowledge of materials, joinery, and assembly methods to ensure buildability and precision. The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of drafting techniques, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities
Shop Drawings: Develop detailed joinery, millwork, and fixture drawings required for fabrication or on-site construction.
Material Specification: Work with designers and suppliers to ensure material compatibility and feasibility.
Technical Detailing: Create section details and assembly drawings to address complex construction elements.
Coordination with Contractors: Ensure detailing aligns with contractor needs and production processes.
Problem Solving: Identify and resolve potential issues before construction through precise documentation.
QA/QC: Ensure accuracy and completeness of technical details to avoid on-site mistakes.
