Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of design professionals, including architects, engineers, and CAD technicians.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing support and development opportunities for team members.
Foster a collaborative work environment and encourage professional growth.
Design Coordination & Oversight:
Oversee the development and implementation of design plans for ABFC projects, ensuring they meet client requirements, regulatory standards, and project timelines.
Review and approve design documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with project goals.
Coordinate design efforts with engineering teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve design issues and ensure seamless integration.
Project Management:
Manage the design phase of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Monitor project progress and address any design-related issues that arise during construction.
Ensure that design changes are communicated effectively and incorporated into the project plans as necessary.
Client & Stakeholder Communication:
Act as the primary point of contact for design-related communications with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
Present design concepts and updates to clients and address their feedback and concerns.
Ensure client expectations are met and that projects are delivered to their satisfaction.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
Ensure that all design work complies with local building codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.
Implement and enforce quality control procedures to maintain high standards of design excellence.
Conduct regular design reviews and inspections to ensure project specifications are met.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement improvements to design processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in construction design.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., LEED AP, PMP) preferred.
Experience: Minimum of [15] years of experience in construction design, with at least [10] years in a managerial or lead role.
Candidates with Middle East Experience are preferred.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM).
Excellent project management skills, including experience with budgeting and scheduling.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing previous MEP design projects and relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with construction projects, e.g., commercial, residential, industrial.
Familiarity with sustainable design practices and green building standards.
Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED17,000.00 per month
