• Lead detailed engineering design workstreams and manage other design engineers/draftsmen
• Supervise the production of high-quality detailed design drawings (electrical, mechanical, and civil), including reviewing and providing detailed feedback on draft deliverables
• Perform and check all required electrical engineering calculations, including sizing of PV systems, ESS, inverters, switchgear, cables, and strings
• Evaluate different technology, component, and supplier options
• Ensure designs are compliant with relevant regulations, standards, and codes
• Optimize designs for performance, cost, and constructability
• Develop and maintain internal design styles, standards, and templates
• Build and develop supplier relationships
• Provide technical support to business development, installation, and O&M teams
