Senior Design Engineer - BMU
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
Working closely with the clients & consultants from beginning to end for Special equipment design and structural analysis.
Experience of preparing structural calculations and design reports.
Perform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience.
Provide drawing for own designs and produce sketches to incorporate in drawings by Designers / Drafters.
Review shop drawings.
Assume the Lead Engineer's role on assigned projects.
Direct and supervise activities of other Designers / Drafters
Coordinate work with other disciplines such as architectural, mechanical, electrical, etc.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in civil / Structural Engineering and higher.
Minimum 5 years of structural design experience in the GCC.
Fully conversant and proficient in structural design.
