Job Title: Senior Design Architect

Job Summary:

The Senior Design Architect is responsible for leading the design and development of complex architectural projects. This role involves overseeing the entire design process from conceptualization to completion, ensuring the highest quality standards and compliance with regulatory requirements. The Senior Design Architect will collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver innovative and functional architectural solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership:

• Lead and manage architectural design projects from concept through completion.
• Develop project design briefs and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.

Design Development:

• Create innovative and sustainable design solutions that meet client requirements.
• Produce detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and presentations.

Client Collaboration:

• Engage with clients to understand their needs and translate them into design solutions.
• Present design concepts and proposals to clients and stakeholders.

Team Coordination:

• Coordinate with internal teams, including engineers, planners, and construction professionals.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior architects and designers.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations and building codes.
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals for projects.

Quality Assurance:

• Conduct site visits to ensure design integrity and quality standards are maintained.
• Address any design issues that arise during the construction phase.

Sustainability:

• Incorporate sustainable design principles and practices into projects.
• Advocate for environmentally responsible and resource-efficient design solutions.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Professional licensure as an architect.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in architectural design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proven experience in leading and managing large-scale projects.

Skills:

• Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
• Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think creatively and problem-solve effectively.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
